The term India Pale Ale was first coined back in the early 19th century as British brewers started to ship strong beer to Calcutta and Madras. These beers were traditionally heavily hopped and with a high ABV to stand the rigours of the journey.

Since the early 1990s, IPAs have seen a massive rise in popularity and most breweries now produce their own versions of this classic. Some of the bottles and cans in our IPA selection bear little resemblance to the original first brewed in the Victorian era.

The IPA case contains a mixture of 12 x 500ml, 440ml & 330ml bottles and cans to give you a great choice of beers.
